On Thursday, September 14, 2017 I, along with my good friend and professional photographer, Jonathan DeRise embarked on a 6,200 miles, cross country road trip from Portland Oregon to Asheville, North Carolina for Overland Expo East. The vehicle of choice for this epic journey was the Metal Tech 4x4 Lexus GX470, which we lived out of for 15 days. During the trip we met up with hundreds of people, saw amazing sites and had the opportunity to catch off road trails in several of the states we passed through.
