Boston, MA

Boston
Boston, a city known for its history, accents, and tea parties! It is one of the oldest cities in the United States. Founded in 1630, this bustling metropolis continues to draw large crowds, groups, and tourists each year.

Boston has done a great job incorporating the historical structures into the modern city. Surrounded on all sides by sky scrapers; as you walk downtown you can still stumble across old buildings that only stands a few stories tall.
Some of those old building include: the Old State House (pictured above), Old South Meeting House, The Paul Revere House, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Quincy Market (part of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace) is one of our favorite stops while visiting the city. It is filled with shops, eateries and a unique atmosphere. If you are in the area, you need to stop by the Cheers location in the market and say hi. They probably will not know your name, but they will still serve you a cold beer.

We find the city is rather easy to navigate and enjoyable to walk. For being a large city, in our opinion, Boston seems to be more quiet than other cities that are similar in size. Just like other places, there is no shortage of things to see or do here, especially if you enjoy history. If so, we would recommend walking the 2.5 mile long Freedom Trail which will take you past several places of significance throughout the downtown area.

Every time we have visited Boston we have had a great experience. We look forward to our next adventure in this wicked cool city!
