Subic Bay was once had a large United States Navel base. Although the installation is now closed, the area is very much alive today; filled with good food, cold beer, and live bands.

Mount Samat National Shrine is dedicated to the Filipino and American soldiers who fought during World War II. It is a beautiful area and a humbling experience.
