Road trips are a blast and even better when you have a friend with you. Road trips are even more fun when you give them a theme and name. Why you ask? Short answer, I'm not sure, I don't understand the science behind it, I just know its true. Having these facts at our disposal, we decided to continue our space theme for this road trip too. We also decided to give it a similar mission identifier of: M-E.A.W.C.-16 (Mission-Explore America West Coast-2016).
We figured, since we explored the east coast, it only made sense to continue it and explore the west coast. To be honest, I always wanted to be an astronaut, and these road trips have afforded that opprotunity without any type of training, qualifications, experience, or even going into space so, I'd say I achieved that dream and goal. Go me!
We started this road trip from Washington state. This road trip or, exploration mission was a follow-on road trip from the trip my wife and I took from Louisiana to Washington. Once Kennedy and I started this road trip, we were both well rested and eager to get on the road. We had lots of energy, time, and a need to explore. We hit city after city and kept on going. Life on the road can be tiresome, aggravating, and smelly, but we did not let effect our friendship, even though I scared Kennedy a few times with my driving or lack there of.
All in all, it was a great trip. We saw several states, met a lot of great people, had a few cold beers and most importantly, had a blast! To see the videos from this road trip, click here: Road Trip Videos
