A few months ago, Ashlie and I announced we bought a new 2017 John Cooper Works MINI. In true Bourn Adventure fashion, we took a large road trip before the "new car" scent wore off!
We focused on the east coast this road trip. Some of the destination we spent the most time at were Maine, New York city, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Savannah.
We spent several weeks on the road, visited 27 states and traveled a little over 5,000 miles.

The Roll Over
The Winter is Coming road trip was one for the record books!
We reached our goal of visiting all lower 48 states in the FJ. The last state remaining was North Dakota, which we hit on our way to Washington state.
Another first, we rolled the FJ! On our way to Colorado Springs, CO we hit a nasty winter storm and I parked the FJ on its roof outside of Ontario, OR.
Ashlie and I walked away without any injuries. Sadly, the same can not be said for the mighty FJ.
