Florida Large museum with an impressive amount of objects on display. Inside is a snack area and restaurant. Busy, but not that crowed during our summer visit.

Texas Large museum with an impressive amount of objects on display and interactive areas. Inside is a snack area. Busy, but not that crowed during our winter visit.

9/11 Memorial,
New York Large memorial with an impressive amount of objects on display. Busy, but not that crowed during our summer visit. Would recommend buying tickets online.

Fort Barracas,
Florida Impressive Fort from the 1800's which overlooks Pensacola Bay. Lots to see and touch with some cannons still in their positions. It was not that crowded during our summer visit.

National WWII Museum,
Louisiana Large museum with an impressive amount of objects on display, interactive areas, and amazing theater. Can be very busy, especially during the summer.

Arlington National Cemetery,
Virginia Arlington is so much more than just a cemetery. Humbling experience. Thank you to all the brave men and women who laid down their life so we could have our freedom.

Battleship USS Alabama,
Alabama A mighty battleship from WWII. There are several attractions to see onsite, the Battleship USS Alabama being the main one. Can be fairly busy and crowded during the summer.

Fort Knox,
Maine Impressive Fort from the 1800's which overlooks the Penobscot River. Lots to see and touch with some cannons still in their positions. It was not that crowded during our summer visit.

United States Botanic Garden,
Washington D.C. Very well laid out and easy to navigate. Beautiful plants of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Can get a little crowded, especially during the summer.

Korean War Memorial,
Washington D.C. As impressive and somber as the Memorial is during the day, it is equally moving at night. The soldiers seem to come alive as their shadows move with you.

Independence Hall,
Philadelphia Take the opportunity to visit the rooms and walk the halls where our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were debated and adopted not to long ago!

Rosevelt Memorial,
Washington D.C. A large, detailed walk through memorial which is very well laid out and easy to navigate. An impressive memorial to visit both day and/or night.

Statue of Liberty,
New Jersey The Statue of Liberty is an impressive site to see, both from a distance and up close. If you want to tour the inside, it is a good idea to buy your tickets online in advance.

National Air and Space Museum,
Washington D.C. Very well laid out and easy to navigate. An impressive collection of history and feats of engineering on display, along with some interactive attractions.

Thomas Edison Museum,
New Jersey A large site with several building to tour. It is amazing to see the work space where so many ideas were turned into reality, which helped lead to modern technology.

Ellis Island,
New Jersey If you visit Lady Liberty, you should also stop off and spend some time here. There is a chance once of your late relatives may have walked the same halls.

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum,
New York From the aircraft on the deck of the carrier to the submarine in the water, there is no shortage of attractions. The area is well laid out and easy to navigate.

National Gallery of Art,
Washington D.C. So many timeless pieces of art located within the gallery. The large hallways and rooms make navigation easy. Staff is also located throughout the gallery to assist if needed.

Gettysburg National Military Park,
Pennsylvania Although the majority of attractions are located outside, there is a museum near the welcome center. Also, be sure to check out the Cyclorama painting inside!
