On December 17, 2015 my wife and I left south Louisiana! Unlike most people, we were heading north for the winter. Our destination was Washington State to visit family and friends. Our plan was to stop at a few locations (Badland, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, ect.) along the way before getting into Washington.
The questionable thing for me about this trip was traveling with my wife. You see, this was the first time we took a large road trip together and I did not know if it would go good or I was going to “accidentally” drive off and leave her somewhere.
As it turns out, she made the entire journey with me and we both enjoyed each other’s company! It was a surprise to us too! We had a great time sight seeing, taking pictures and making silly videos.
Before she flew back to Louisiana, we hit 13 states and covered 3,700 miles. I stayed in Washington for several more days, awaiting the arrival of Kennedy so we could start our road trip (M-E.A.W.C.-16).
You might be asking yourself, "why did his wife fly back home?". Because we got a divorce! No, I’m joking. She had to get back for work.
We had a better time then we expected and we cannot wait to take another road trip and explore new areas! Maybe next time, I'll even let her drive.
